Dickens in Deventer

Posted by Eddo on December 30, 2012

It has been a tradition in Deventer to bring back the time of Charles Dickens in the town center. People are dressed in Victorian fashion, with both the ‘rich’ and the ‘poor’ being depicted. Both professional actors and volunteers are walking around in this Victorian Deventer, drawing huge crowds of up to about 130 thousand visitors over the entire weekend.
