The sprint burndown is dead

Posted by Eddo on April 21, 2015

Based on an article by Crisp’s Jimmy Janlen, our development team decided yesterday to ditch the sprint burndown.

We weren’t using it constructively anyway, and our thought is now that confidence smilies behind a story on the board shows better our confidence in delivering a story at the end of the sprint.

We will be evaluating this experiment in a few weeks, after having worked with it for a few sprints.
